Maybe Emme's got it right.

Maybe Emme's got it right. The new fashion is the old fashion. Do we look back in time for comfort, to a time when the world around us seemed more sure, more stable, more comfortable? Will this drive the new fashion trends? Or do we just keep blazing a trail into our future? One thing is for sure. The changes that are occurring in our economic lives and in our political lives are coming about faster than they have in living memory. Brace up. Work hard and be happy. ......and turn your collar up!

  2. Well hallo Mr.Jacket. So nice of you to come and visit my Blog and decide to follow me. My daughter Fat Frumpy and Fifty has an online website [Sarasattic]selling vintage clothing, and has spent her working life in retail.
As for me there is no fashion like old fashion...I mean the good stuff just keeps coming round again and again...classic design never goes out of fashion. Just as well,'cos I wear the same things over and over, well at my age I'm invisible anyway.

  3. Yes! Fashion as comfort and soul protection! I totally get that. I have been heading more and more that way lately, actually - isn't that funny? For me (at the moment)it's cashmere sweaters. I'm craving warm and snuggly and soft and comforting. I keep buying them and then I remember - hello! - I live in Los Angeles with limited cashmere-wearing days because of the climate. But I keep buying them anyway...

    Ah, well.

Super-cool blog - and thanks for becoming a follower on mine. I really appreciate that! I'll keep a peg in the hall tree available for you and your jacket.

  4. Katie Holmes is sporting some very unattractive peg legged jeans. We don't all have to do that do we?
